Pamela Rene Odom passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022 in Ennis, Texas at the age of 71. She was born April 6, 1952 to the late Bennie Mae Odom-Johnson.
Pamela was united with Warren UMC and Ezell Chapel CME churches at an early age. She also attended St. Luke Community UMC under the leadership of Rev. Zan Holmes.
Pamela graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1970 and continued her education at Dallas Community College. She then held various positions as an administrative assistant and later a legal assistant with Baker Botts LLP.
In her earlier years, she was one of the first African American teen models for the Kim Dawson modeling agency, at the Sanger-Harris department store. Pamela enjoyed spending hours in the library, playing with dogs, crossword puzzles and horror movies.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life and only child, William Jamal (Jamie) Johnson, Mother, Bennie and Brothers, Ronnie and Dwight Nichols.
She leaves to mourn: Sister Vanessa and brother in law Paul; nieces, Brittany and Kristen and nephews, Nicholas and Jason (Quinisha); great nephews, Colin, Landon and Asher and a host of relatives and friends.
