Dallas Trinity FC Scores Twice in the First Half
The home side opened the scoring in the 30th minute when 15-year-old Kayia Brewer found the back of the net off an assist from defender Drew Coomans. Brewer, the younger sister of Dallas Trinity FC defender Meila Brewer, scored in her first professional team exhibition and unofficial debut for Dallas.
Dallas doubled its advantage in the 42nd minute when forward Kalea Eichenberger found Juliet “LJ” Moore, who finished the chance to give Dallas a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
Jasmine Hamid’s Game Winner Spoils Chivas Femenil Comeback
Dallas’ two-goal advantage was cut in half shortly after the break when Chivas Femenil’s all-time leading scorer, Alicia Cervantes, found the back of the net in the 67th minute to make it 2-1.
Cervantes struck again in the 75th minute, scoring her second goal of the match off a rebound to bring Chivas level at 2-2.
A draw after 90 minutes would have resulted in a penalty shootout, but the contest was far from over. Dallas Trinity FC’s leading scorer during the 2026 Fall Season, Jasmine Hamid, scored the game-winning goal two minutes into stoppage time, off an assist from forward Camryn Lancaster.
The assist marked Lancaster’s second straight State Fair Clásico assist after she was credited with one last season against Club América.

QUOTES
Head Coach Lee Nguyen on what winning the State Fair Clásico could mean for the rest of the season…
“It was a great opportunity for everyone to show their quality today in front of a great crowd. A chance for everyone to make an impression…We should be able to build confidence from this moment. Playing against a team like that, being able to control it for a majority of the game. This is a good boost of confidence for us, and now we know, when we go into the postseason, what that can look like. This is very much what a playoff, championship game will look like with this type of quality, intensity and the fans cheering on. The noise was amazing, the energy was vibrant, so it was a good preview.”
Forward Kayia Brewer on scoring in her first appearance for Dallas Trinity FC against Chivas Femenil in the State Fair Clásico…
“Honestly, I’m just so grateful for the opportunity I was presented. Just a great ball from Drew, and I’m just so happy about everything. Everyone is just so happy for me, telling me congrats and giving me big hugs and smiles. It’s a great feeling to have that from all the players you look up to.”
Midfielder Juliet “LJ” Moore on how the crowd played a role in her goal in the State Fair Clásico…
“It was a really fun environment. I’ve never played in any environment like that. It gave us a lot of energy. It allowed us to play freely and with intensity and encourage each other through it all. Because sometimes, there were times where we didn’t feel like the home team at all. We were boosting each other up, and I think that was really important in helping towards my goal.”
