Celebrating 41 Years of Dedication, Love, and Achievement

Employment Date: December 10, 1984 – October 14, 2026
Today, we celebrate a very special woman and an extraordinary milestone in her life. After 41 years of hard work, loyalty, dedication, and perseverance, you have finally reached your retirement graduation finish line! Words cannot fully express how proud we are of you and how much this moment means to our family.
Born November 14, 1956 in Yazoo City, Mississippi, number 6 of 17 children, in 1984, you began your journey with Merrill Lynch as Client Service Associate in Wealth Management sector.
Your dates of service recognition were December 10, 2009 for 25 years of service, December 10, 2019 for 35 years of service, December 10, 2025 for 40 years of service.

Little did you know that you were beginning a career that would span more than four decades and become such a remarkable part of your life’s story. Service recognition awards include 2006 Employee of the month, 2025 Responsible Service & Growth Award Top 750. Through the years, you remained a loyal employee, committed to your work and dedicated to the responsibilities entrusted to you.
Forty-one years is an incredible accomplishment, and it represents so much more than the time you spent on the job. It represents your determination, your strength, your sacrifices, and your ability to keep going until you reach the finish line.
We know that life does not stop just because we have responsibilities to fulfill. While you were building your career, you were also being a loving wife, a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, and a wonderful great-grandmother. You have worn so many hats throughout your life, and you have continued to show up for the people who love and depend on you. You have given so much of yourself to your career and our family, and today, we want you to know that we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so incredibly proud of you.
Your retirement is not simply the end of a career. It is the celebration of a promise kept to yourself, a goal accomplished, and a finish line crossed after years of dedication. You stayed the course, put in the work, and completed a journey that began back in 1984. And now, on October 14, 2026, you can finally say, “I made it!”
If retirement were a graduation, Mom, you would be walking across that stage with honors. Your diploma would represent 41 years of commitment, your medal would represent your loyalty and perseverance, and your standing ovation would come from all the people whose lives you have touched along the way.
We hope you take a moment to look back at everything you have accomplished and feel the pride you deserve. You have earned this moment. You have earned the freedom to slow down, enjoy your mornings, spend precious time with your family, create beautiful memories, and embrace life without the daily demands of a career. Now, it is your turn to enjoy the fruits of your labor and welcome a new season filled with peace, happiness, laughter, and countless blessings.
One of the greatest things about your legacy is that it goes far beyond your professional accomplishments. Your legacy lives in your family, in the love you have given, in the generations that follow you, and in the memories that will continue to be treasured for years to come. Your career may have reached its finish line, but your impact as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will continue to grow.
We are so proud of the woman you are, the hard worker you have been, and the loving family member you continue to be. We hope you never forget how much you mean to us and how deserving you are of this beautiful new chapter. The workdays may be behind you, but the best memories are still ahead. May this next chapter bring you more time with the people you love, more reasons to smile, more opportunities to rest, and more moments that remind you just how blessed you are.
Love your Daughter
Tamika Grant
