Hundreds of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. members descended upon Washington, D.C. recently for Zeta Day on the Hill 2026. The symbolic day was centered on The Power of S.H.E.: Turning Advocacy into Action — Social Justice, Health Justice and Economic Justice. It was a homecoming in a sense as the sorority was founded in 1920 at D.C.’s Howard University. Undergraduate, graduate and auxiliary members engaged distinguished national leaders during the highly-anticipated event which took place over a two-day period: September 16-17. In addition, policy experts participated in congressional visits addressing issues including pay equity, voting access, and maternal health equity.

Daniels and attorney and political commentator/influencer Elizabeth Booker Houston. There were discussions spanning civic engagement, health equity, homeownership, wealth-building, and economic opportunity.
