Sarah Ann Walker passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on June 28, 1951, Sarah lived with spirit, style, and a strong sense of self that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew and loved her.

Sarah was smart, giving, caring, and deeply helpful to others. She carried herself with confidence and a bit of sass, and those closest to her will always remember her determination and her love of being in control. In a way that was entirely her own, no one could drive her. That independence was part of her charm and part of the strength that defined her life.

She loved to shop, cook, sing, and dance, and she brought creativity into the everyday moments of life. A true fashionista, Sarah expressed herself with style and flair. Her favorite color was lavender, a shade as gentle and distinctive as the warmth she shared with others. Among the simple joys she cherished was her favorite movie, The Fighting Temptations, a reflection of her love for music, spirit, and celebration.

At the center of Sarah’s life was her family. She was a loving mother of four and grandmother of two, roles she held close to her heart. She was also a devoted godmother and aunt, and as the middle sister, she nurtured her younger brothers with love and care. Her affection extended beyond people as well, and she dearly loved her five dogs, who were part of the comfort and happiness of her home.

Sarah’s faith was an important part of her life. She was a Christian and was baptized by her father by the age of seven, a meaningful foundation that remained with her through the years.
