All the single ladies, put your hands up! How many times have you heard that song on a dance floor? But in saying that, where are the single men? That’s a question that many ladies continue to ask. Well, if you’re one of them, then this list is for you!
Over 1,000 single men were surveyed and this is where they say they will vacation. It not only tells you where single men will be, locally and internationally too!
8. (Local) Black-Owned Coffee Shops
Coffee shops have quietly become modern social spaces.
Many Black-owned cafés host:
- Open mic nights
- Author talks
- Business meetups
- Poetry nights
- Networking events
Professionals frequently use these spaces to work remotely, creating opportunities for natural conversation.
Why it works: Coffee shops encourage people to slow down rather than rush in and out.
7. (International) Ibiza, Spain
If your idea of fun is partying your nights away with some of the worlds most eligible bachelors in all of Europe, go to Ibiza.
People from all over the world flock to this tiny island in the Mediterranean. There, the world’s top DJs come to test out their latest house and electronic anthems at some of the best clubs you’ll find anywhere on the globe.
For the single male, one of best features that attract them are the incredible beaches bursting with people. So all my single ladies, suit up and head to Ibiza for some fun!
6. (Local) Volunteer Organizations
Nothing reveals someone’s character quite like volunteering.
Consider organizations focused on:
- Mentoring youth
- Habitat for Humanity
- Food banks
- Community cleanups
- STEM education
- College mentoring
Many Black professional organizations organize volunteer days throughout the year.
Why it works: You’re meeting people while working toward a shared purpose instead of trying to impress one another.
5. (International) Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Ocho Rios is a former fishing village on a wide bay that was developed for tourism in the mid-1980s. The frequent docking of cruise ships (sometimes three in a day) at the central pier that commands the town’s focus gives ‘Ochi’ a comfortable city feel. Spiced up by the locals who want to show you a good time, it’s a great place to meet some great guys. So you can “fish” your way up and down the beaches and incredible resorts to meet some fit, attractive and easy-going young men.
4: (Local) Fitness Communities
Forget simply walking into a crowded gym with headphones on. The real opportunities come from communities built around fitness.
Examples include:
- Running clubs
- Cycling groups
- CrossFit gyms
- Boot camps
- Boxing classes
- Pickleball leagues
- Basketball leagues
Fitness groups create repeated interactions. Instead of a single encounter, you may see the same people every Tuesday or Saturday morning. Research and dating experts consistently point to recurring group activities as one of the strongest predictors of new relationships because familiarity lowers social barriers.
Why it works: Consistency creates comfort. Friendships often develop before romance.
3. (International) Myokonos, Greece
With amazing beaches, famous architecture, beautiful scenery, and sunsets to die for, Mykonos is a smashing party island. While most of Greece may be reeling from the effects of a spiraling economy, the party goes on in Mykonos.
The island has a lot of new spots to sample. From indoor-outdoor restaurants to seaside lounges, beach clubs, and villas, this is the ultimate go-to place for anyone looking for a vacation spot.
2. (International) Half Moon Cay, Bahamas
Little San Salvador Island, also called Half Moon Cay, is a tiny private island in the Bahamas. It’s probably best known for it’s crescent-shaped Half Moon Beach.
It is very famous among cruise goers and is recognized internationally as well having been ranked as the leading private cruise island by Porthole Cruise Magazine for 16 years in a row. So let’s say you’re going on a cruise, make sure one of it’s stops is Half Moon Cay and you just may find your better half!

I know what you’re thinking: “But I’m not interested in sports.” But you know what? He probably is! Whether it’s NFL Sundays, NBA games, golf tournaments, or college football classics, sporting events remain major social hubs.
Even better than the game itself are:
- Watch parties
- Tailgates
- Sports bars during big games
- Alumni events
Sports provide endless conversation starters without forcing anything.
Why it works: Everyone already shares a common interest, making conversations feel effortless.
