Trial attorney Chalon Clark has a lot to say and show. As a talented interior designer, her blend of courtroom savviness with talent in designing spaces has landed her on season three of HGTV’s Renovation Resort Showdown.

Many showed up to support Design Refined founder Clark at a screening event in Dallas on July 9, 2026 at Echo Lounge & Music Hall that featured appearances from her teammate Liz Truluck and additional cast members Marcy & Melissa Mussari, Taylor Reiko, Thomas Markley and Tatianna Taylor-Tait. They all participated in a Q&A session after the screening that was immediately followed by an after party upstairs in the venue.

Jazze Radio-Chica of 97.9 The Beat served as the event host and moderator of the Q&A.

The team of Clark and Truluck are the only Americans on the show this season among three Canadian teams charged with transforming waterfront cabins at a lakeside resort. The winner will receive a prize of $100,000.

In response to people telling Clark that she is fearless, she told the audience, “I am not fearless, I am courageous and I do things scared all the time.”

She commanded the screen with no fear as she and others brought out beauty in the ordinary.

Being from Texas, flavor of the South is stitched in her roots.

“I think the southern flair that I’m bringing is really my sayings when you see me on the show,” Clark said. “My grandmother really inspired me and I felt her spirit all around me. I ended up sewing a lot on the show and that’s what she taught me to do, and so you’ll see a lot of that.”

Clark hopes her blending of careers empowers others.

“I also hope that they are inspired that you do not have to choose one passion, that you can do whatever you want,” Clark said. “I know some people feel very stuck in whatever they’re doing because they’ve spent all the time and money, but that does not mean that you don’t get a chance to start over and truly live your passion.”

Catch season three of Renovation Resort Showdown now airing on HGTV and cheer on Clark as she represents for Texas.
