With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Johnny Vernon IV, who departed this life on June 9, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on December 7, 1975, JOHNNY’s journey was marked by resilience, kindness, and a steadfast dedication to those around him.

Throughout his years, JOHNNY’s presence brought comfort, reliability, and strength to all who knew him. His legacy is defined by the values he upheld and the meaningful ways he touched the lives of those fortunate enough to cross his path. Known for his unwavering character and genuine concern for others, JOHNNY exemplified integrity in both his words and actions.

While nothing can diminish the grief of losing such a remarkable individual, his memory will forever remain cherished. Those who were close to JOHNNY bear witness to the warmth of his compassion and unwavering support. He leaves behind a legacy not measured solely by any single achievement, but by the lasting impression he made on the hearts of his family, friends, and community.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by JOHNNY VERNON IV are invited to attend a Visitation on June 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Funeral Services will be held the following day, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Dallas West Church of Christ, 3510 North Hampton Road, Dallas, TX 75212. JOHNNY will be laid to rest with a burial at Lincoln Memorial Park (Dallas), 1311 Murdock Road, Dallas, TX 75217.
