Nathan Bernard Johnson, age 70, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026. Born on August 10, 1955, in Anderson, South Carolina, Nathan lived a life marked by hard work, laughter, and a deep love for family and friends.

Nathan Bernard Johnson, age 70, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026. Born on August 10, 1955, in Anderson, South Carolina, Nathan lived a life marked by hard work, laughter, and a deep love for family and friends. For more than 46 years, he built a successful career in sales, earning the respect of colleagues and customers alike through his dedication, warmth, and gift for connecting with people.

Nathan was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer, who found joy in the outdoors. He also had a passion for music and dancing, and wherever he went, he brought energy, laughter, and a sense of celebration. Known by many as the “life of the party,” Nathan had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and valued. His infectious smile, quick wit, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

Nathan’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dr. Pamela Johnson; his brother, Fernandus Johnson (wife, Patricia Renee Johnson); his six sons, Daymond Johnson (Michelle), Antoine Estelle, Nathan Jones, Nathan Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Dr. Evan Blackwell (Nazli); and his daughter, Daylena Johnson. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, Brianna Johnson, Daymond Johnson Jr., Kaylee Johnson, Dylan Jones, Kierston Jones, Zarah Johnson, Leo Wheeler, Makayla Wheeler, Micah Wheeler, Aniyah Wheeler, Beckham Blackwell, Dawson Blackwell; 4 great grandchildren, Jamal Rutayomba, Carmen Johnson, Theo Boone, Daymond Johnson III; and extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Pauline Johnson, and his father, Nathan Johnson.

Nathan’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the countless memories created with family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him to live fully, laugh often, and treasure the people they love. “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
