Chausin Carr Jr., a beacon of kindness, warmth, and unwavering generosity, passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 7, 1947, Chausin’s life was a vivid tapestry woven with care, compassion, and an enduring commitment to nurturing those around him, especially the younger generation, whom he taught not only with words but through the eloquence of his actions.

To know Chausin was to be embraced by his welcoming spirit. His home radiated with the aromas of freshly baked goods and simmering pots, as his love for baking and cooking was a cherished means through which he shared his soul. Beyond the kitchen, he found solace and joy in the simplicity of fishing, the challenge of working on cars, and the peaceful labor of tending to his yard. These hobbies not only defined moments of personal joy but also served as gentle invitations to others, reflecting his open and giving nature.

Chausin’s hands were never idle; whether they were crafting a meal, coaxing an engine back to life, or planting a seedling, they were instruments of hope and perseverance. More than hobbies, these passions symbolized his approach to life—patient, steadfast, and full of care.

His legacy will be honored in a Prayer Service held at Golden Gate Funeral Home – Ft. Worth, located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119, on May 22, 2026, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place the next day, May 23, 2026, at the same location, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

As friends and family gather to remember Chausin, they will recall not just his deeds but the profound kindness that echoed in his every encounter—the patient teacher, the thoughtful helper, the caring friend whose footprints will remain etched in hearts and minds.

In the quiet moments, when the line between past and present blurs, the gentle spirit of Chausin Carr Jr. will be felt in the rustling leaves of the yard he so lovingly tended, in the warm comfort of a familiar recipe, and in the peaceful rhythm of a fishing line cast under a fading sun. His kindness was his legacy, and it will endure in the lives he touched so deeply and faithfully.
