The Honorable Pierette Parker is the Owner of Our Community Management, LLC. Elected to the DeSoto City Council (Place Two) in the June 2023 Runoff Election, Pierette brings decades of leadership, service, and advocacy to her community. The Councilwoman is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and now serves as the Director of Alumni Engagement. She has worked in the Information Technology industry for more than 20 years and she is a Certified Community Association Manager (CMCA), a Texas Licensed REALTOR® and a Dallas County Precinct Chair for Precinct 3617, where she is passionate about increasing voter awareness and engagement. She is also a proud member of the Community Association Institute. A former HOA President and Secretary, she also served as Chair of the DeSoto Parks and Recreation Development Board.
