Loreese Key Black, born on February 19, 1957, in Terrell, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Mesquite, Texas. Loreese was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter to all those fortunate enough to know her. Her fun-loving spirit was infectious, and her ability to share a good joke endeared her to countless friends and family members.

Loreese was a devoted homebody who found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to cook and bake, always ready to whip up a delicious meal or treat for her loved ones. Gardening was also a cherished hobby, where she nurtured plants and flowers that mirrored her warm personality. Her passion for blues music filled her home with rhythm and soul, creating an environment of joy and relaxation.

Throughout her life, Loreese was known not only for her culinary talents but also for the caring advice she offered to those in need. She had a special affinity for children, lovingly referred to as “the babies,” and her loyalty as a friend was unmatched. Her ability to listen and provide guidance made her a treasured confidant to many.

Loreese passionately celebrated family, which she regarded as her proudest accomplishment. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones.

Visitation for Loreese Key Black will be held on February 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The Funeral Service will follow on February 26, 2026,. commencing at 3:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.
