An 18-year-old was arrested and is facing a murder charge in connection with a shooting Thursday night at a train station that left one dead, Dallas Area Rapid Transit confirmed in a statement.
At about 9:40 p.m., DART police responded to a fatal shooting at the 8th & Corinth Station, according to the authorities.
“The incident did not occur on board a DART vehicle,” the statement said.
The victim was identified by the officials as 28-year-old Erin LaJames Graham.
Demetrius Rogers, 18, was taken into custody, DART officials said. Rogers is facing a murder charge and is currently being held at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center, according to Dallas County online jail records.
