This year’s Big Tex Business Masterclass graduates are ready for their next chapter as business owners. To kick off National Entrepreneurship Month, the State Fair of Texas recently hosted a graduation ceremony celebrating a record 19 small businesses and entrepreneurs who participated in the five-month dynamic educational series. Comerica Bank joined the celebration as the program’s primary funder.
The Big Tex Business Masterclass was created for North Texas small businesses and entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry. Its goal is to educate existing small businesses on implementing successful business operations and disciplines while creating a collaborative network and providing opportunities for growth and exposure. While not a guarantee of acceptance to the State Fair of Texas, it gives a behind-the-scenes view and insight into what it takes to be a food and beverage vendor for the State Fair.
