TBAAL Riverfront Jazz Festival Final Night

Calm After the Storm Rainy festival evening does not deter fans

Dashing from one Fair Park building to the other, music lovers avoided rain puddles to see fan favorites close out The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL) 8th Riverfront Jazz Festival on Aug. 31, 2025. Michael Lington featuring Howard Hewett closed out performances on the Centennial Building stage while Anthony Hamilton, wearing all white and a cowboy hat, delivered the festival’s final performance in the Automobile Building. Attendees seemed pleased with the overall weekend of legends and newer talent bringing their artistry to Dallas. Kudos to TBAAL founder and festival producer Curtis King on another stellar event.
