Melissa Bradford is the VP Community Development Officer at Veritex Community Bank, where she builds partnerships with North Texas organizations and leads the bank’s charitable and community initiatives. A Dallas native with a military family background, Bradford previously served as Chief of Staff for Texas State Representative Carl Sherman in District 109 from 2020 to 2023. She brings 15 years of experience from the Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance and studied Business and Art Design at the Art Institute of Houston. She is on the board at the Dallas Economic Center as well, deeply committed to community engagement and economic development.
