Because of great partners and amazing volunteers, this past Saturday’s Health and Wellness Fair at the Highland Hills Branch Library was a day of service and smiles. Families received fresh produce, backpacks and school supplies, free health information, veteran resources, overdose prevention education with Narcan kits, confidence-boosting haircuts for boys and teens, and free Nike shoes for youth.
To everyone who donated toward the haircuts, thank you. Your $15 gifts became fresh starts and real confidence for students heading back to school.
