Errin Haines, editor-at-large and founding mother of The 19th, has been elected the new president of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). The announcement came during NABJ’s historic 50th anniversary convention in Cleveland.
During a special celebration honoring the founders, Haines raised her glass in a heartfelt toast to the organization’s founding members, in support of their vision and dedication. She also expressed excitement for the road ahead, pledging to embrace all that the future holds for NABJ and its members.
