OBIT: GLENDA FORGE JOHNSON

Glenda Forge Johnson, born on April 28, 1953, in Dawson, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Glenda led a life rich in love and compassion, bringing joy to those around her through her unwavering dedication to family and friends.

A proud graduate of Como High School, Glenda cherished her educational experiences and carried the values of hard work and kindness throughout her life. Known for her vibrant personality, she was not only a devoted family member but also a remarkable caregiver and community servant. Glenda had a profound love for fishing and cooking, often using her culinary skills to bring people together around the dining table.

Her heart swelled with pride as she witnessed the prosperity and achievements of her grandchildren. Glenda’s love for them knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent with her family. Her legacy will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A viewing will be held on August 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church located at 4712 Ramey Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76105. Following the viewing, a funeral service will commence at 12:00 PM and continue until 1:00 PM at the same location.

Glenda Forge Johnson leaves behind a lasting impact on the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry her spirit with them as they remember her loving nature and the many memories they shared.
