Black Business: Cush City Online Book Store

Cushcity.com is the brainchild of Willie and Gwen Richardson, who live in Houston, Texas. They launched in December 1998. Cushcity.com is named for the Biblical individual Cush, who was the father of many African nations around the world, the son of Ham and the grandson of Noah. Gwen Richardson, co-founder, is a two-time NAACP Image Award nominee. Cush City sponsors the annual National Black Book Festival in Houston, Texas. The Festival usually occurs in October of each year. For more information about the Festival, visit the website.
