Ida Jewel Hayes, a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on June 14, 1929, Ida lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering spirit.

Ida’s contribution to those around her was significant. She touched the lives of many through her compassion and dedication, qualities that endeared her to friends and family alike. Her ability to connect with others and offer support will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honoring her remarkable life, a visitation will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on July 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together and share their memories of Ida, reflecting on the joy she brought into their lives.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at the Allene Chapel of Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on July 5, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. This gathering will allow those who knew her to celebrate her legacy, to remember her loving spirit, and to honor the incredible impact she made throughout her lifetime.

Ida Jewel Hayes will be deeply missed but forever remembered, living on in the hearts of those she left behind.
