Calvin Wayne Jackson, born on August 3, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Dallas. A devoted member of the community, Calvin was well-known for his great sense of humor, often balancing his grumpy demeanor with a funny perspective that brought joy to those around him. Despite his penchant for keeping to himself, Calvin had a warm spirit that resonated with friends and family alike.

Throughout his life, Calvin nurtured a passion for the Dallas Cowboys, proudly rooting for his team as an avid fan. His enthusiasm for the game often became a cherished topic of conversation, allowing him to bond with others who shared his love for football.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation on March 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on March 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas – ALLENE.
