National Coalition of 100 Black Women Announces Scholarships For DFW High School Seniors

The application deadline is March 31.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) Dallas Metropolitan Chapter has announced a new scholarship opportunity for high school seniors in the DFW area.

The new opportunity is part of NCBW’s mission to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment. The scholarship program will award two qualifying applicants $1,500 each in scholarship funds for college.

To apply, applicants must be meet the following criteria:

  • Black female
  • High school senior (class of 2020-2021) graduating from a DFW area high school
  • Minimum cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale Grade Point Average (GPA)
  • Accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning, a two or four-year college, university, or technical/vocational school at the time of scholarship application
