Kim Marie Carey, born on March 1, 1957, was a beloved figure in her community and the heart of her family. She peacefully departed this world on September 26, 2024, leaving a legacy woven with kindness, humor, and an unyielding spirit.

Throughout her life, Kim was known for her sweet and giving nature. A loving and devoted individual, she touched the lives of many with her helpful demeanor and her passion for cooking, often bringing people together around her table. Her outspoken personality and delightful humor made those around her feel cherished and understood, often earning her the affectionate title of “old school granny.”

Kim’s warmth extended far beyond mere words; it was felt in every meal she prepared, every laugh she shared, and every time she lent a helping hand. She exemplified love in action, making all who knew her feel like family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kim Marie Carey’s life and the beautiful memories she created. A visitation will be held on Friday October 11, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The following day, a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday October 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home.

As we remember Kim, let us carry her spirit of generosity and joy into our own lives, cherishing the moments that bind us as family and friends. She will be deeply missed but her legacy will continue to inspire those lucky enough to have known her.
