Montrell Jamal Haggerty, a beloved warehouse worker and devoted father, passed away on September 21, 2024, in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on September 15, 1989, Montrell’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his community.

Montrell was known not only for his diligent work ethic but also for his humble demeanor and the love he bestowed upon his children. As a good person, his pride and joy stemmed from the accomplishments and well-being of his children, who were at the center of his universe. He was actively involved in their lives, attending every football game played by his son and participating in all activities attended by his children.

An avid sports enthusiast, Montrell had a deep love for watching boxing and was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His deeper interests reflected not just personal hobbies but also contributed to the bonds he shared with his family, engaging them in lively discussions about their favorite teams and athletes.

The legacy Montrell leaves behind is one of love, commitment, and pride in his family. He is remembered as a humble man with a big heart, whose greatest accomplishments were his children. His presence will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A wake service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Golden Gate Funeral Home – 4155 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy, Dallas, Tx 75224.at 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow the next day also at Golden Gate Funeral Home at 11:00am.  Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Montrell’s life.
