From Dallas to Las Vegas to Indiana and beyond. WNBA records were shattered all over the nation in the final weekend of play for the league before the playoffs begin.

Starting right here in our own backyard – the Dallas Wings’ Arike Ogunbowale – only two days after becoming the franchise’s all-time leading scorer – became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 4,000 points. She made it in her 195th game, setting a WNBA record for fastest to 4,000, dethroning New York’s Breanna Stewart who accomplished the feat in 196 games. Ogunbowale entered the game needing 13 points to get to the 4K mark.

In Las Vegas, likely league MVP A’ja Wilson became the first player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 points in a season. And in Indiana, likely Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark broke a couple of records along with teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
