As a content marketing associate, Julia Estelle Cotton provides writing, storytelling, content curation, and analytics to elevate the brand, success, and impact of Educate Texas and its programs. Before joining Communities Foundation of Texas, Julia worked for WFAA-TV as a Senior Programming Coordinator/Digital Content Producer and Talent, social media manager and programming coordinator. She spent a year at the North Texas Food Bank as a community partner relationships specialist advocating for neighbors in Dallas County experiencing food insecurity. Julia has a BA in radio, television and film from the University of North Texas. Julia has worked in sales for Belo, Telerep, Denton Record-Chronicle, and KDFW-TV. She teaches storytelling performance workshops. She also writes and performs sketch comedy with her friends in a group called FCC.
