Donald Wayne Myers was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, November 04, 1958 to the parentage of Mr. Eugene Myers Sr. and Margaret Myers.

Donald relocated with his family to Fort Worth Tx shortly after he was born. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth Texas. Donald attended Ft. Worth public school and graduated from Green B. Trimble Tech where he received an Engineering Scholarship to Texas A&M University. Donald’s college education also included attending St. Edward’s University in Austin Texas where he majored in Marketing/Business. In 1978 Donald enlisted and joined the United States Air Force where he served a total of 6 years. Donald finished out his military career in Oklahoma City before moving back to Fort Worth. 

Donald worked for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram as a Sale Representative for a couple of years before moving to Houston Texas. While living in Houston he continued his employment as an Inside/Outside Sales Executive for Consolidated Freightways. Then later joined (YCR) Roadway/Yellow and UPS Freight as an Outside Account Executive.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Sr. & Margaret Myers: His sisters, Dorothy Island, Carolyn Myers and Mary Moore.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories his loving brothers, John Moore (Kertregis), Perry Myers Sr.

(Donna), Eugene Myers Jr. (Janice), Quentin Myers (Tracey) and a host of loving nephews and nieces
