Not long after she retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years. Carolyn professed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church pastored by Reverend G.B. Prince and later joined Community First Baptist Church under Reverend C.H. Gerald.

She walked with Jesus all her life and we have no doubt that she is now in His Arms and has obtained the Victory and her Crown in Glory. Thank God for her faithful and dedicated life and the Spiritual Legacy she has left us all.
