Artae Curry was born on April 24, 1977, to Archie And Barbara Curry in Fort Hood, Texas. He was proceeded in passing by his grandparents James and Mable Curry of Florida and Ella Ma and IV Parker as well as a special cousin Armani Artae Bradford and a Nephew Andre’ Ramont Curry. 

Artae graduated from James Bowie High School and followed in his father’s footsteps serving in the United States Army. Artae was active and served 2 tours in Afghanistan. He returned form the Military and was an active part of the community mentoring youth with his company Proverbs Youth Services. 

Artae grew up in Arlington, Texas and was known to be an exceptional student and soccer player. He started his secondary education at Texas Tech before transferring to University of Texas at Arlington. 

Artae Curry is survived by his mother, Barbara Curry; sisters, Tamela Cole (Myron), Sonya Ford (Anthony) and most importantly his 4 children, Deja Tolliver, Diontrey Curry, Cierren Edmondson and Blake Brown with 3 adorable grandchildren, Colby Burks, Jr., Camiyah Burks, Kennedi Curry. Also, a special lady Sarah. A host of living nephews, nieces and friends.

Artae was so energetic and had a magnetic personality that just attracted people to him and that is how he became such a good businessman. If there was ever anything said he was going to do, then you can consider it done. Everyone knew that his friends were family all the same.
