Claudia Fowler made history when at the age of 26 she was elected to the Wilmer Hutchins ISD School Board, becoming the youngest African American to hold this post.  She has served as President/CEO of the Joppa South Central Coalition for Neighborhood Redevelopment, Inc., and as a member of Mayor Mike Rawlings’ Grow South Advisory Council.  Formerly the Community Liaison at Urban League of Greater Dallas and North Central Texas; Claudia received her BA degree in Accounting from Bishop College where she was secretary of her class.  A member of the Top Ladies of Distinction and a 2016 Unsung Hero of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Claudia also hosted the radio show, Queen of Community Conversation and she’s also listed in Who’s Who in Black Dallas.
