COVID-19 vaccine pop-up events at Walmart locations

COVID-19 vaccine pop-up event

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) encourages everyone 12 years old and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19. DSHS offers pop-up COVID-19 vaccination events at 18 Walmart locations across the state during the month of October. People who want to get a shot can get one on site.

Walmart is also offering COVID-19 vaccines at all its pharmacy locations with no appointment needed and at no cost to you. This series of vaccination events focuses on smaller communities and rural areas where vaccination rates have typically been lower, along with urban ZIP codes with large numbers of unvaccinated residents.

More information on the COVID vaccine in Texas, including links to locations where the vaccine is available at covidvaccine.texas.gov.
