During Tuesday’s DeSoto City Council Meeting, Mayor Rachel L. Proctor honored local hero Corey Borner with an Official Proclamation declaring Tuesday, September 7, 2021, “Corey Borner Day” in the City of DeSoto.
Corey’s inspirtional story, including his most recent graduation from UNT and his efforts to walk again after a devastating 2009 high school football injury is worthy of coverage.
