President Perkins did not stop at the Club’s impressive $41,600 in scholarship donations, she continued soliciting donations from corporate and community partners up until the last week of her role as the 33rd club president. With her passion for educating youth, Dr. Perkins exceeded the Club’s 2021 goal by surpassing $50,000 and providing a great start for the upcoming 2021-2022 scholarship presentations.

Ollie Gilstrap, the incoming 34th club president, held a virtual President’s Retreat on August 28 and presented an impressive platform that promises to move the historic South Dallas Business and Professional Women’s Club to higher heights in quality community programs and scholarship donations for 2022.
