The 2020 WNBA Champion Seattle Storm visited the White House on Monday and were celebrated and honored by President Joe Biden. This was the first White House visit by an NBA or WNBA championship-winning team since 2016. Then-President Barack Obama celebrated the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.

President Biden made remarks about the team’s on-court success and their social activism. Biden was presented with a souvenir Storm team jersey.
