
Arlana Brumfield is an urban agriculture advocate, public health professional, entrepreneur and community leader who is the founder and CEO of Soilutions Holistic Agricultural Operations, a Dallas-based nonprofit focused on food justice, sustainable agriculture and holistic wellness. She has used her background in food safety, sanitation, public health and agriculture to address food insecurity and health disparities in underserved communities. Brumfield has worked as a peer trainer with the Texas Small Farmers & Ranchers Community-Based Organization. She is a U.S. Army veteran and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health from the University of North Texas at Dallas and has a background in biology and clinical laboratory science.
