Larry’s early days in Dallas instilled in him the strong values that guided his every step. Known for his warmth and steadfastness, he was a true son of Texas who embraced the transformative decades in his beloved city with grace and resilience.

Family, friendship, and commitment were the cornerstones of Larry’s world. His unwavering integrity and reliability left a lasting impact, cherished by those who knew him. He uplifted everyone around him, honoring traditions and fostering connections with love and wisdom.

An athlete in his youth, Larry excelled in football and track, maintaining a lifelong devotion to fitness. His passion for singing led him to join the group “The L’s,” and his creativity shone through his art and love for classic cars. A dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, Larry’s enthusiasm was infectious.

Friends, family, and community are invited to celebrate Larry’s life during visitation on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. His funeral service will follow on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. Larry will be laid to rest at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
