Carl Wade Blow Jr. was born on June 26, 1974, and departed this world on July 26, 2026, leaving behind a vibrant legacy of kindness and laughter. His journey left an undeniable imprint on all those fortunate enough to cross his path.

To remember Carl is to remember a man whose kindness was never showy but always abounding. Those who knew Carl often recall his pleasant presence, how he seemed to make any day brighter just by walking into a room; he was funny in a way that felt effortless and genuine. He could loosen the grip of tension in a room with humor that sparkled, sometimes subtle, often contagious. Laughter followed him, lingering like sunlight through an open window, and in it there was always comfort, always authenticity.

Perhaps most strikingly, Carl delighted in marching to the beat of his own drum. He lived with an authenticity others could only admire, making independent choices and forging a unique path. Unconcerned with passing trends he taught that there are many ways to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. He was the friend, father or son whose perspective could shift your world and remind you to embrace your truest self.

As we gather to celebrate Carl’s life, we honor the kindness, humor, and individuality that defined him in the hearts of all who loved him. Those closest to him will carry forth the legacies of gentle compassion and authentic living that he embodied.

Carl’s memory will be cherished in a gathering of hearts at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Friends, family, and all whose lives he touched are invited to celebrate him during the visitation on August 7, 2026, between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue on August 8, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. Carl will be laid to rest at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, Texas.

Though the world is quieter for the loss of Carl’s unique laughter and presence, his spirit endures—in remembered stories, in gestures of unexpected kindness, and in every moment when we honor our truest selves, just as he taught us through the simple act of being himself.
