DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Bethune-Cookman graduate offensive lineman Christian Loving has been named to the 2026 BOXTOROW HBCU College Football Preseason All-America Team, the organization announced Monday.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Bethune-Cookman graduate offensive lineman Christian Loving has been named to the 2026 BOXTOROW HBCU College Football Preseason All-America Team, the organization announced Monday.

Loving was selected as one of six offensive linemen on the preseason All-America team, which recognizes some of the top returning players in HBCU football. The 2026 team marks the 20th season that BOXTOROW has selected its HBCU preseason All-America squad, with selections determined by media members who cover HBCU football.

The honor adds to a growing list of preseason accolades for Loving heading into his final season with the Wildcats. He was previously named to the 2026 Preseason All-SWAC First Team after helping anchor a Bethune-Cookman offensive line that produced one of the most productive offenses in program history since joining the conference.

In 2025, Loving helped B-CU rank fourth in the SWAC in total offense at 410.8 yards per game. The Wildcats also averaged 171.3 rushing yards per contest and nearly 240 passing yards per game, while increasing their scoring output by nearly a touchdown per game from the previous season.

Loving enters the 2026 campaign as one of the veteran leaders on the Wildcats’ offensive front. The 6-foot-3, 315-pound offensive lineman transferred to Bethune-Cookman after spending two seasons at Catawba College and has been a fixture along the B-CU offensive line since joining the Wildcats.
