A veteran journalist, philanthropist, and author, Tamron was the Emmy Award-winning host and executive producer of her self-titled nationally syndicated daytime talk show, the first African American female co-host of NBC’s Today, and the anchor of MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall. She is also the host of Investigation Discovery’s Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall. She is a board member of NAB Leadership Foundation and a Trustee for her alma mater, Temple University. She hails from Luling, Texas, attended high school in Fort Worth at Polytechnic High, and she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
