
LaMonica McIver is a “Jersey Girl,” hailing from Newark, where she attended Central High School. She then attended Bloomfield College, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Seton Hall University. A U.S. Congresswoman, she is a former Director of Human Resource Services at Willingboro Public Schools, former HR Specialist/Manager at Secaucus Public Schools, and former HR Regional Partner at Newark Public Schools. She also most recently is Public Affairs Manager for PSE&G. The Congresswoman founded Newark G.A.L.S., Inc., an organization devoted to fostering female leaders.
