Mayor Eric Johnson announces Back to School Fair

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson is hosting annual Back to School Fair event to provide Dallas students and families with essential school supplies.

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson recently announced that the 25th annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair will take place on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Fair Park.

This opportunity is held to provide assistance to Dallas families with students who will benefit from a program designed especially for them.

Dallas families will be provided with essential school supplies after meeting a certain criteria.

Participants are required to pre-register and show their confirmation number in order to receive their school supplies.

Families are given two options to receive the supplies:

Drive-Thru Only Fair

Friday, August 6, 2021

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Walk-Up Only Fair

Friday, August 6, 2021

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The Mayor’s office has partnered with DISD, Susan Cordova, Deputy Superintendent, sponsors, non-profits, and the business community to help fund the event.
