
Dallas, Texas – July 27th, 2026 – Urban One Dallas announced key leadership appointments for
revitalized Dallas-Fort Worth cluster. Maurice Potts has been named Vice President/General Manager,
Karl Whittingham is promoted to Director of Sales, and Kevin Jenkins joins the company as Local Sales
Manager.

the nation’s most dynamic media markets.
As Vice President and General Manager, Maurice Potts will lead the Dallas-Fort Worth cluster after
serving for the past three years as the General Sales Manager. A respected media executive with nearly
15 years at Urban One, Potts has played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and cultivating strategic
partnerships. Beyond his leadership at Urban One, he also serves as a Board Member for the Texas
Association of Broadcasters, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing the broadcasting
industry across the state.
Karl Whittingham has been named Director of Sales following a successful career spanning multiple
leadership roles within Urban One. His extensive experience across the organization, combined with his
deep understanding of the Dallas-Fort Worth market, positions him to lead the station sales team and
continue delivering innovative marketing solutions.
Kevin Jenkins joins Urban One Dallas as Local Sales Manager following the company’s acquisition of
Service Broadcasting. Most recently, Jenkins services as Executive Vice President of National Sales for
Service Broadcasting where he has built a reputation for delivering high-impact revenue initiatives. His
experience and established relationships in the Dallas market will further strengthen Urban One’s local
leadership.
