Uncle Waithley’s was founded by Harlem mixologist and restaurateur Karl Franz Williams and named after his grandfather, who operated a ginger farm in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The company emerged from Williams’ hospitality background and his search for a more distinctive ginger beer to use within cocktail programs at his bars and restaurants.
