With profound sadness and deep admiration, we announce the passing of Janice English, who left this world on July 4, 2026, just shy of her seventy-sixth birthday. Born on July 19, 1950, Janice filled her years with love, devotion, and a steadfast spirit that touched every life she encountered.

To know Janice was to witness unwavering loyalty—she was loyal to a fault, fiercely protective. Her feisty nature was paired with a giving and caring heart, making her the cornerstone upon which many leaned for comfort and support. Janice’s family meant everything to her, and she poured this love into every relationship, building bonds that have withstood time and adversity.

Janice devoted herself to being a provider, not only for those closest to her but for anyone carrying a burden. Her compassion reached beyond immediate family, extending to friends, neighbors, and even strangers, embodying a truly humanitarian spirit. She was nothing short of international in her view—bridging gaps, fostering understanding, and spreading warmth wherever she went.

Janice’s absence leaves a distinct emptiness for those who loved her best. She is survived by her beloved sisters, Karen English and Simone (Mitchell) English Bowden; dear nephews, Aaron (Dominique) English, Karl E English and Gregory Williams; her special cousin, Leslie Harold and a host of cousins, colleagues and friends. Each of them carries a piece of her light within their hearts and will continue to honor her legacy by upholding the values she embodied.

She also joins her family members who preceded her in death: her father, Sylvester English; mother, Blanche English; her brother Karl English; her sisters, Rose Marie English and Doris Thompson; and niece, Andrea Robinson. Though her earthly journey has ended, her reunion with those she so dearly missed brings solace to those left behind.

Janice’s life was an enduring testament to the power of unconditional love and steadfast kindness. She lived with conviction, spoke her mind with zest, and found meaning in giving of herself to others—her legacy is one of both strength and tenderness.

As we remember Janice, let us hold close the essence of her spirit: loyal and loving, courageous and compassionate. Though she is gone from our sight, her enduring influence will be felt in the gentle acts of care, in the fierce displays of loyalty, and in the open-hearted generosity she inspired in us all. May her memory be a blessing, and may her lessons of love and resilience guide us always. To send flowers or plant a memorial tree in memory, please visit our flower store.
