Cook Morrison, born December 23, 1970, passed away on July 5, 2026. As we reflect on her life, we remember a woman whose loving, caring, and happy spirit touched all who knew her. Tangula’s family-oriented nature was evident in the warmth she shared and the strength she brought to every relationship.
Throughout her fifty-five years, Tangula demonstrated unwavering compassion and joy. She was known for her generosity, always reaching out to others with a smile and a word of encouragement. Her presence could light up a room, and she leaves behind cherished memories of laughter and togetherness.
While words can scarcely capture the fullness of Tangula’s spirit, those who knew her best will forever hold dear the moments spent in her company. She valued family above all and lived a life that was a testament to kindness, love, and care for those around her.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 am, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. Following the service, Tangula will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6000 South R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75241.
Though she is no longer with us, the legacy of Tangula Morrison’s love and happiness will live on in the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
