With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we remember and celebrate the life of Shannon Denise Smith, who was born on April 19, 1990, and departed this world on May 18, 2026, surrounded by loving family.

To have known Shannon was to have been touched by a gentle spirit, remarkable kindness, and enduring compassion. From her earliest years, Shannon’s warmth was evident to all those whose lives she graced. Her presence filled every space with a sense of belonging and ease; her laughter and her thoughtfully chosen words had the power to offer comfort and light even in the darkest moments.

Shannon’s journey was interwoven with profound connections—her family and friends stood as both her foundation and her motivation. Her care extended well beyond her own circle, reaching out to uplift others in both grand and subtle ways.

As a devoted daughter, a steadfast friend, and a beloved confidant, Shannon embraced those around her with unwavering loyalty and gentleness. The bonds she nurtured were deep, offering steadfast reassurance to those whom she loved most. Her legacy is written in the memories of those who shared laughter, sought guidance, and found solace in her generous spirit.

Though her own story was cut short, Shannon lived each chapter with purpose, gratitude, and love. Even in her last moments, her family remained close, a source of comfort that spoke volumes about the affection and respect she inspired. Her journey ended as she lived—wrapped in love, and never alone.
