James Talarico Announces “Frontera Tour” to Show Up for Border Communities Left Behind by Both Political Parties

The 750-mile multi-city bus tour from El Paso to the Rio Grande Valley will focus on lowering costs and creating jobs

James Talarico announced the “Frontera Tour,” a 750-mile bus tour from El Paso to the Rio Grande Valley — to show up for, listen to, and learn from border communities who have for too long been left behind by both political parties.

“Border communities are the gateway to our state’s economy — but for too long, politicians have taken them for granted. From El Paso to the Rio Grande Valley, Texans are drowning under the high cost of everything — while the establishment in both political parties doesn’t seem to notice,” said James Talarico. “Ken Paxton hasn’t been to a single border community this entire campaign, probably because there aren’t enough billionaire mega-donors down here. So here’s my message to border communities: if you feel like you’ve been conned, if you feel like you’ve been let down by both political parties, if you feel like politicians aren’t doing anything to lower your costs — you’ve got a place in this campaign.”

On the tour, James will make major policy announcements, meet directly with working Texans, speak at churches, host town halls, and showcase the many ways our border communities make Texas great.

The tour will kick off Saturday in El Paso, Texas.
