Frank P. Riley Jr., born on May 18, 1935, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, journeyed beyond this life on June 22, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. His ninety-one years were defined by resilience, kindness, and a steadfast devotion to family that touched all who knew him.

Frank’s earliest memories were formed amidst the heart of Baton Rouge, where the vibrant city shaped his formative days. Those southern roots gave him the warmth that so many later recognized in his voice and smile—a grounding presence that remained with him throughout his life’s journey. From the exuberance of youth to the wisdom of age, Frank’s story is one of perseverance and the quiet strength of a man who held family close to his heart.

He was a loving father, and his legacy continues in the life of his devoted daughter, Tamara Riley. Their bond transcended words; together, they wove stories and shared laughter, building a rich tapestry of memories. Frank was also a cherished his brother to Jesse Riley their relationship characterized by enduring support and shared recollections reaching across the decades. Family meant everything to Frank, and he found joy in the next generation, treasuring his nephew Bertail Riley, whose life Frank celebrated along with his Louisiana family .

His love was both generous and unconditional, enduring even in the face of loss. Frank carried the memory of his beloved daughter Dena Nicole Riley, who preceded him in death, holding her always in his heart. For Frank, the threads of family, both near and remembered, were never far from his daily thoughts.

Frank’s story is etched not just in the names he leaves behind, but in the quiet moments shared over decades—morning conversations, advice given freely, laughter echoing across family gatherings, and the subtle strength with which he faced every chapter in life. His presence radiated a sense of belonging and security, a gentle assurance that steadied those fortunate enough to be loved by him.

The community will have the opportunity to honor and remember Frank’s remarkable journey through the following services: A viewing will take place on July 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location, the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas-ALLENE, on July 8, 2026, at 11:00 am. Frank will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 pm that afternoon, where his memory will find a lasting home among the honored.
