
In October 1996, founder Willie Pettigrew, affectionately called Uncle Willie, catered an industry event. There, he met the owner of a popular Dallas-based seafood restaurant chain, who expressed his interest in carrying Uncle Willie’s pecan pie tartlets on their dessert menu, and the rest is pretty much history. While pie is in the name, they’re in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweet treats for both wholesale and events. Uncle Willie’s Pies is family-owned and operated.
